Founder & CEO, Lamma+

“No CS Degree, No Permission, No Problem”

Hamdi "Hassan" Shahid Jr. is the founder and CEO of Lamma+, an AI-powered influencer discovery platform serving faith-based creators and the brands trying to reach them. Before tech, Hassan spent years in youth work and community organizing in the Twin Cities while building a parallel life as a working musician and guitarist — earning a Cedar Commission Fellowship and Minnesota State Arts Board grants along the way. He then pivoted through a network engineering bootcamp and Prime Digital Academy, and has since shipped code at QBP, Storyforge, and Wells Fargo, where he worked on credit card technology with React, TypeScript, and serverless AWS.
